We wish we could stay more! You can see Kinnaur Kailash and Shivlingam right from the property. Hosts speak English well and are very much fond of people coming to the area. We were greeted with chai (best chai we had in whole India btw) and we got to experience local life. They have cows, sheep, and a dog. They shared home made food with us - and it was made mostly of what they grow in the garden. Ghee was home made as well - with the milk from their cow. And the food was heavenly. All of this is surrounded by out-of-this-world views and you also can’t beat the location - off the main road, quiet and peaceful. Part of us wants the bliss of this place to be preserved from the tourists - but we just can’t help writing this review because of the amazing experience we got with this family. Did I mention high speed WiFi internet? The fastest we encountered on our whole trip! The room was clean and neat. We’ll definitely come again to spend more time in this beautiful place - hopefully soon.

    All the rooms have the most amazing view of the snow capped mountains from the private balcony’s! And, the most comfortable & fresh bed we slept in our whole time in India. We both loved this home stay so so much and would highly recommend to anyone!!

    Everything about the home stay was perfect. Right from the family who hosted us to the home stay itself to its beautiful location. We are immensely satisfied of our stay there. Highly recommended for stay in Kalpa budget wise, location wise and ambience wise.

    I had a wonderful time at our Homestay. The ambiance was peaceful, and the owners were friendly and attentive. The accommodation was perfect, and the owners went out of way to make sure we were comfortable. The food provided by them was so tasty .They provided great local tips and made our stay special. Highly recommend.

    Kin Vatika is a homestay like no other. Apart from being at a beautiful location, it is the warm hospitality of the hosts that makes it stands out from any other place of stay. So far away from home in the middle of the mountains, when you find people that warm your heart, it fulfills your journey. Aesthetically beautiful and very well kept, it’s a home far away from home.
