It was a sincere family atmosphere Her meals at nighttime are really wonderful and affordable. The lady particularly prides herself on excellent balanced meals and keeping her guests healthy during their stay. She even remembered a guest's birthday and got the cooperation of the other guests for this event with a specially prepared birthday cake, which everybody shared. During our 3-week tour of Kerala, this was the best homestay that we stayed at. The view of the water in front of the water from the first floor balcony was wonderful.

It's a very comfortable stay with 2 rooms on the first floor of a house where the family of Mother and 2 children lives downstairs. They were very polite and helpful. Excellent for solo travellers on two wheelers Facility to park 2 cars in front of the property is there.600 metres from main road to the property is a narrow strip,but can be traversed as there are not much vehicles at a particular point of time.Mr.Abhin & Mr.Allan are running the show with small grocery and bakery in front of the house and owns a boat for sightseeing also. Mrs.Mini their mother is a panchayath member and gracefully serves the morning breakfast ( Puttu & Kadala/ Appam & curry) Worth for the money spent.

I am very happy with my stay here. It was very nice meeting uncle Gopal and his mom. He helped a lot in navigating the various spots in the nearby and even far off areas. The homely environment and food is something I can never forget. Even if one is a solo traveller, they don't need to worry. Language won't be a problem here. Uncle treated me like his own daughter. Other good things will include the peaceful surroundings, AC, cleanliness, iron, washing machine(in case anyone needs to use- I didn't use it). In conclusion, don't think twice before booking a room here.

Fabulous stay. Divya, her family, and staff are welcoming and foster a home-like environment. We had engaging conversations and shared stories. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The homestay is located near a quiet rural road that runs alongside a canal and passes through villages and rice fields. We took a pleasant 3-hour walk from the homestay to the main lake, along the canal, where we saw different birds and interacted with villagers.

The Homestay is in a great location. You can easily arrange for a boat to collect you by the front and you are almost at the lake. The garden space is very good. It works well for two people who don’t want to share a room.
