The stay was just wonderful. Perfect for our first few days acclimating to the altitude. The staff and owner were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The property is just beautiful and pleasant to relax around. Location is close to the market. Overall it was an amazing stay and highly recommended for your time in Leh. The stay was amazing. The staff were really helpful during our mild AMS on our first day. The room was nice and clean and had a beautiful view outside. The place is about 750-800m away from Leh Market. We could walk from the property to the market easily. The owner helped us with renting a scooty, cab information etc. Recommended.

The tradition of pottery appealed to me. I wanted to see what material was used, what was the story of the father and his son potter. I got a lot of information as I was also able to ask all the questions I wanted and observe a participant making her first tea pot. I loved the rural setting, the traditional ladakhi house, the meals taken in the family room, the delicious homemade food and bread, the quiet night, the excellent bed.
