If you’re looking to escape the bustle of Tanjore, this is the perfect place to unwind. On the edge of the city lies this charming and colorful homestay, surrounded by small houses, cows, and farmland. We were warmly welcomed by two incredibly kind ladies (I regret forgetting their names), who took such good care of us. In the evening they prepared a delicious home-cooked dinner, and in the morning we were spoiled again with a lovely breakfast. Because it’s just outside the city, some tuk tuk drivers may have trouble finding the location. It’s best to keep a map at hand so you can help guide them along the way.
