Ahmed runs this hotel beautifully and according to the setting. Don't expect luxury, but do expect comfort and a very warm welcome (even if you are 5 hours later than you said you'd be and your phone was switched off!) We enjoyed the dinner and Ahmed's breakfast, and he turned out to be great company when he took us for a guided walk in the morning.

Central location in the old village, cosy and friendly atmosphere in the evening around a cup of tea, excellent room, great tasty breakfast prepared by Yazeed the next morning. He even went out of his way to help us with our rented car in the morning saving us a lot of trouble. Special thanks to Yazeed and greetings to his friends, we felt like part of the family. We only stayed one night but next time in the area for sure we'll stay again at Dana Gardens.

Mohanned and the staff are just the nicest people. Very welcoming, took care of us, and made sure we have everything we needed. Mohanned is an excellent cook, and the meals were delicious. The caves are cozy, comfortable and disconnected us from the cold weather and winds outside. There is plenty hot water and the bathrooms are clean. You can see Shobhak castle from the dining area, which is beautiful. The owner is really nice and has done a great job with the place. We liked staying here so much that we extended our stay by couple more days. Would highly recommend 7 caves!
