We got live the life of Meta (the host) for a couple days, which was truly insightful into authentic Cambodian life. Meta was a great host, and took us to his rice farm to catch frogs, snake and crabs to feast on (for free!) He also took us the local silk and crocodile farm. Downtown Siem Reap can also be reached with a short bicycle ride. Renting a bicycle at the homestay was simple and easy. In the homestay you can get very good and affordable fried rice, noddles and beverges. The room was very big with two levels. But only upper level had AirCon in my room. The home stay was one of the best experience my husband and I ever had. We visited Bangkok, Koh tao, and Phuket before going to Monyharch’s homestay. The homestay provided us an experience to Cambodian farm life. Monyharch’s wife’s restaurants food was so yummy 🤤. They are such a happy family.
