The accommodation is a clean and comfortable separate guest room located behind the main house. In addition, you have access to an outdoor kitchen and pool. Nina is a great communicator and hostess. She provided me with great ideas and suggestions, i.e. the photo below was taken at her suggested ‘place to go for great sunsets’ (and cocktails!). She even offered to take me to the airport. I’d suggest renting her car, as the accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood, up a hill, not within walking distance to restaurants.

The hostess is a truly lovely person. This is a 3 generation family home and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It’s not a 5-star hotel, it’s better in my opinion—a genuinely loving family home. The hostess sang for me a beautiful welcoming song about coconuts! That is special.

I can’t recommend this place enough - it is absolutely fabulous! The room and house are a beautiful oasis, and the owners are incredible. Heinui and Florent were so hospitable - they picked me up from the airport, and I had the most wonderful time chatting with them over dinner. I had an early morning flight, and Heinui woke up incredibly early to make me pancakes and drive me to the airport. Even though I had a short stay, it was absolutely fabulous!

The host family is great. Friendly and awesome helpful! Amazing. The place is surrounded by nature and a waterfall in the forest. Beside your own room you can use the common living room and terrace which are huge and offer a great experience like sitting in the rainforest. Since there are only 2 rooms, you have the place sometimes really for yourself. Its a really nice place to stay for a cheap price.
