It's so..beautiful apartment & big. The bedroom like suite in 5 star hotel. Location very center close to Medina. Taste full decoration as the owner Tayeb & Ines as architects. Both of them very nice. Will recommend to friends.

What can I say? Dar Dorra was the last accommodation on our trip through Tunisia and it was a crowning moment. Located directly in the medina of Tunis, Dar Dorra is one of the best hotels we visited during our trip. The staff were very friendly, the premises are enormous and decorated with incredible taste. I loved my room. It was not the largest but it felt so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant belonging to Dar el Jeld, which was the best culinary experience we had in all of Tunisia. Absolutely NOTHING to complain about!

The location in the medina is great, close to everything. The house is lovely and comes with a generous breakfast and afternoon tea if you wish. Ahmed was a very helpful and charming host. I highly recommend it, although there is neither a patio or courtyard!

Absolutely lovely hosts with a very filling breakfast every day. The room was cool and comfortable (much appreciated in the soaring July temperatures). It was in the heart of the Medina, and after the first two days we learned the route almost by heart. Everything was very clean and lovingly decorated. It was an all around wonderful stay.

The hosts were extra nice and helpful. they told us where to go and what to visit in tunis, how to find a buses/trains, they even recorded a message on our phones for ordering bus tickets to djerba. and they even helped us with packing our clothes. They gave us bottles if water for free because we forgot to buy some. I just have never met such nice hosts The house was more like a hostel. There were few shared rooms and one 2-bedroom room with private bathroom. There was kitchen and a living room (lobby) where you could sit and talk to other guests. The house was very old and authentic with colorful carpets and tiles and carved ceilings made of sandal wood. the furniture was old, but it was contributing to its oriental vibe. The house was in a quiet part of the medina but close to everything. great restaurants nearby.

I stayed is Yasmin room. Small, but perfect. The sliding glass doors overlooking the veranda that looked out directly to the sea was breathtaking. The bed was AMAZING and oh so comfortable. The linens were clean and comfortable. Truly, had the best night sleep. And the daily breakfast was very nice too. The staff is friendly and always available to help you. I like that the hotel is small and quiet but within 10 minutes (by foot) you are in the heart of La Marsa with plenty of cafes and restaurants and shops.
