Everything.... Thang made sure that we reached comfortably and arranged for some special surprises as well..... Han and her husband do wonderful cooking... Excellent food and serene place to cut off from the world for a bit... Living with nature in the midst of an ocean is something else.... Adventure seekers... Excellent place to stay in Cat Ba. Mr Tuyen is a kind host. He helped us book a cruise and transfer to Hanoi. The Banh Minh we had for breakfast was delicious. There's free foot bath every evening. The hotel is quiet and cozy, about 3 km from the town. We got a big, spacious room with spotless linen. Will stay here again. Highly recommended.

A little slice of heaven in Cat Ba. Opposite a lake and out of the town so very quiet. The family that run this place are so very kind. They will help with everything. Fantastic quality scooters and they can organise trips and transport.. Accommodation is very clean and the breakfasts are lovingly created and local Vietnamese traditional food. Don't hesitate to book this place, it's amazing!!!

Wow!!!! This place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, i mean so clean you could literally eat off the floor!! Beautiful smoking lounge on the rooftop. Great location with a short walk to the center. We had breakfast every morning prepared by the owners wife that was absolutely delicious and the highlight was when the owner Mr Throng would come up to your table each morning with his own home brewed fruity Rice wine and pour you a shot with him and say “This is how we say good morning in vietnam” and believe me it was good, so good i asked him for a second round ;) Mr throng was very helpful with booking us an excursion the first day and renting his bike, he even pulled out a map of the island explaining to us in detail what route to take to get to the near by attractions and how long it would take and timed it perfectly so that we would reach the Jetty on the otherside of the island on time for a beautiful sunset. he even advised us about the money exchange rates in Cat ba advising us to try our best to pay by card or local currency and to save our dollars to exchange them in a bigger city so that the we would get a higher rate. his genuine character and warm personality made our stay in Cat ba a memorable one for sure! Would definitely without a doubt recommend Cat ba central homestay to anyone that is planing to visit and would definitely stay here if we ever return to cat bar in the future!!!!

We stayed two nights at Homestay Cat Ba Santorini and it has been a very pleasant experience. The host, Mr. Tien helped us arrange both transport from the pier to the homestay and from the homestay to our next destination and the communication prior to our arrival has been great. The property is very clean and our room was the same. It was very spacious on two floors with more beds than we needed . The location is also very convenient and there are a lot of restaurants nearby and a few minutes from Cat Ba Town center. They also have a restaurant but we did not have the chance to try it. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend it if you are visiting Cat Ba!

The bed is very comfortable and room is large. It is away from the busier part of town but not hard to walk there. The optional breakfast was nice. They also helped with laundry and a scooter rental.

Excellent communication, good advice and help with booking tours. Spotless clean room and bathroom with very efficient Aircon. Very tasty Vietnamese breakfasts, with explanation about the food/ingredients. Eco-minded host, caraffe of water instead of bottles. We booked the cooking class which is highly recommended! Motorcycle available for rent for excursions. Location a bit away from the noisy center, walking distance from cannon fort.

    CatBaCorner is a lovely small set up with recently built rooms, a view on a pond and absolutely outstanding welcome and service by owner Phuong. The room is large enough, the beds comfy, sitting area outside etc. All simple, but tastefully done. Everyday another breakfast, all yummy. Phuong arranged our laundry, a scooter and tips where to eat/ go as well as our bus ride to Ninh Binh. She is the most lovely host there is! The homestay is a short 5 minute scooter drive from the busy town center.

    Very nice homestay in quiet, beautiful area. It's a bit remote, but with the motorbike it's very easy to get around. Especially the entry to the National Park trails is very close by. Super nice host family, spacious and well equipped room (wardrobe and a very good hairdryer, ac, bathroom amenities, ...) and good food in the restaurant! And many cute animals around ;) We enjoyed our stay here so much, that we stayed 2 nights more than originally planned, cảm ơn!

    Great family hosts, very friendly & helped us with everything we needed. Tasty banana pancake at breakfast and good value room compared to other homestays on cat ba. Rented a bike from them and had laundry done, all went smoothly. We liked the location as it was quieter and among the locals. Means there is a short walk to the center, 10 minutes down a hill.

    It was in a great location and one of the cleanest places we stayed in Vietnam. The host family were amazing helping us with information about the island, pick up and drop offs and booking our bus back to Hanoi. My husband and I did the cooking class with Tam and it was fantastic. We rented a scooter from the Homestay to tour around the island and had delicious breakfast and dinners outside on the roof top with a view of the mountains.

    This is a really lovely Homestay, we felt very welcome into their home and the family are very kind. The breakfast was great too! The location is a walk away from the main part of town, but we enjoyed it as it felt more like a locals area, and there were good restaurants and bars round there. Highly recommend.
