What makes this property is the food serve for you every breakfast and dinner!!!! Each day is different and you always look forward to what's gonna be for dinner which is so exciting and every meal is amazing and so delicious!!!! They don't serve you one or two meals, but during dinner they have different varieties! They offer bike rental for 50k dong, motorbike for 150k dong and you can ask their staff to cook you their traditional meal. Breakfast comes with your booking and dinner is 100k dong per person. Trust me that amount comes with 5-6 different varieties of food!!! The homestay is overlooking rice fields and mountains which makes it more relaxing while sipping your coffee in the morning.

One of the best stays I had in Vietnam. This homestay is located in the ideal spot: you can reach many restaurants and shops by walk, but it is also rightly tucked away from all the noise. I recommend booking the king room with a view very early in advance, they have just one available, but the view from this room was fantastic! One could even open the windows, and the fresh air is really refreshing. Air conditioning worked well (it is needed if you travel from Feb to Oct), the days get quite warm. The private bathroom was good. Breakfast was bread, egg and fruit (banana). This is the standard breakfast that one would get at most of the homestays in Vietnam. I also had dinner here on both days of my stay. The food was excellent, fresh, and did not upset my stomach at all. The owner and the people living here are extremely friendly. Also, I suggest getting a bike on rent from them. That way, you do not need a deposit or passport and also, you could leave the bike back with them at the end. I also booked a bus with them to Ninh Binh, which was awesome and costed me 250k VND, which is lesser than what was being shown to me online. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely return here on my next trip to Mai Chau.

Clean. Run by a family who are caring, attentitive and honest. Wife speks very good english. The breakfast was tastey and filling, the evening meals, (which the family were also eating) were worth it. Bikes to rent are in good condition with the soft seats (so valuable). They went out of their way to help locate a misplced phone. Very caring and price was reasonable.

We were received with outstanding hospitality! The family was so friendly and helpful. They helped us with any questions we had and suggested and booked our daily activities for us. The accommodation was very cozy, comfortable and clean. I can only recommend this lovely stay 🙂

The staff is very friendly even though they don't speak English, we could understand each other with google translate. The setting is amazing, gorgeous and well maintained garden, and pretty corners to relax everywhere. It is a bit distant from Mai Chau so make sure you have a scooter or a car. But that just makes it more remote and away from tourist crouds.

Wonderful location in countryside. Very good starting point for trips to see Vietnamese nature, by motorbike or by own feet. Very friendly host, with above Vietnam-average English. We highly recommend to try his local cuisine.

    The homestay is in a lovely location in the middle of Ban Lac village, sorprended by rice field and mountains. The rooms are clean and comfortable, mine had a nice terrace where you could sit and relax. The whole family were lovely hosts, always there to help and give advice on the best things to do in the area or just what dish to try at the local restaurants.i used the free bicycles provided to cycle round the area.

    Feels like home. The family of the owner who has a home stay beside are so accommodating and lovely. We are always having our dinner with the family from the next house. There’ s this lovely lady every morning who always gives us fruit and gives us a positive vibes and always trying to help us even if we only have our conversation in Google translate. The next time I will be in Mai chau , I will stay here again or the next house’s homestay( Mai Chau Home Holiday Homestay ) which is there family as well.

    Blown away with this incredible homestay. The hosts pick you up from the shuttle bus drop off and get you immediately set up. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Wifi was excellent. The bed was great and both the AC and water heater worked a treat. The morning breakfast provided is very good with a few options. They’re also nearby other home stays with good food if you’re feeling more variety. The dinner was excellent and had a lot of options. It’s a beautiful area to explore and the location is unbeatable.

    Wonderful homestay in Mai Chau. The host family were super lovely. Our room was very clean, modern, lovely design. View of the rice paddies was fantastic! Excellent food for dinner and breakfast. While we were there, they were doing a bit of work on the site, renovating some bungalows and we are so keen to come back and stay again when they're all finished! We were discussing when we could come back before we'd even left!

    A true homestay experience. The host family prepares delicious dinner (optional) and helped us with everything from renting bycicles, our bus pick up, and organised everything we needed. We enjoyed food an drinks with the host and loved the view on the rice fields from the terrace.
