There was no breakfast, but a kitchen in room for our self cater. Dinner was very nice and comfortable dining room. our room was adequate for our needs, the policies well explained at the desk. The desk help was very friendly. Also a grounds guard that helped us view the river but warned of danger. this same person walked us from Resturant to our cottage after we ate to make sure no animals were in the area.

It was a short stay but very memorable. Place was clean, quiet, and well maintained with a beautiful landscape garden. Host was very friendly and welcoming. I requested a 12pm early check-in for one or two rooms; host advised out of the 4 rooms booked, he will make 2 rooms available but on our arrival 3 rooms were ready for us.

the breakfast was acceptable, but we are quite particular about food. The location was good. the bedroom was very new and lacked a bathroom mirror. the bed was comfortable, we would have liked a top sheet rather than just a duvet.
