It was fully furnished in home like style. Very tastefully and interestingly decorated. The owner thought of every detail to make the guest feel at home during vacation from both the style and practicality. We loved that it had a coffee maker and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The 3-d map on the wall was a big hit for us! The chairs to watch TV were super comfortable as was the bed. There were blankets and pillows in the living room. Kitchen had everything needed and more like pot with boiled water. Great idea! They have very tasty tap water there. I would highly recommend The Sounds and hope to return myself. The view is spectacular!

My stay at this hotel was wonderful! The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed, plus it was incredibly convenient - just steps away from the penguin beach. But what truly amazed me was their outstanding integrity. After I checked out, I realized I'd left my treasured watch behind. I was heartbroken, thinking it was lost for good. Imagine my immense relief and gratitude when the hotel manager contacted me! Not only had they found and safely stored it, but they kindly offered to mail it back to me in Hong Kong. The joy of getting my watch back was incredible. This genuine care and going the extra mile for a guest is truly rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much! Combined with the lovely room and perfect location, I highly, highly recommend this hotel. An outstanding experience!

Launceston Tramway Museum se nachází 3,1 km odtud a Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery 3,6 km.... Amazing place. The owner is a very lind person. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The breakfats is complete and filling. The dogs are very sweet and welcoming. All the facilities work well, extra comfortable. Super recommended. We also got some advice on what to do next.

Sleepy Hollow Hideout 2 (SHH2) was clean and was furnished with new and comfortable furniture and new-condition facilities. SHH2 had the best couch of all the places I stayed at in my 3 weeks in Tasmania - and it reclined too! I also really appreciated the stretchy cotton bedding which felt a bit warmer than plain sheets in cool May nights. The in room heater worked well and kept the indoor temperature just right. The kitchenette was great to have so that I could prepare simple meals and having things like milk, coffee, sugar etc in jars instead of little packets was extra convenient - I could use as much as needed. SHH2 was close to the main highway and close to Stanley as long as you have a vehicle. I was met by the proprietor even though I arrived later than expected and felt welcome! I really enjoyed my stay at SHH2 and would book there agin!

He is very accommodating, gives great exploring tips and cooks delicious meals. His house is also super comfortable and clean. Loved the area in general, which remains relatively close to the little penguins observation areas.

Loved the rustic look shed with 70s decorations but all the modcons you need. Such a cozy little space that felt like you were out in the country. We loved the space and didn't leave once we had checked in.
