Casa JPi is located on the seafront in São Pedro, 100 metres from Sao Pedro Beach and 12 km from Torre de Belem. Featuring full-day security, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. The guest house features family rooms. Casa JPi is a home away from home. We loved our time here. Was a great way to relax in to island life ! JP is an exceptional host, no request too big or small. Really felt well taken care of and welcomed. He met our request for afternoon tea on day when I was craving some tea and cake, as well as picking us up from various locations including the airport and a restaurant. If you don’t manage to reserve the room with the balcony, the view from the shared balcony on the top floor is amazing and you’ll probably get to meet and chat with the other nice guests staying there. Do note that private bathroom doesn’t mean en suite. The place is clean and comfortable and the location is amazing, 1 minute walk from the beach.

Really comfortable space, inside and out. Christina was super friendly and helpful during our entire stay and kept herself available throughout our visit. The rooftop patio and accessible fridge/kitchen space was super convenient during our stay as well.

Fabulous place to stay in Mindelo. Safe neighborhood and close to the center (10 min walk). The actual property is a room with ensuite bathroom inside a bigger apartment where also family lives on the premises. The kitchen and living room are shared. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. Also for a modest extra charge it's possible to eat dinner/late lunch with the family. This is highly recommended as the most of Mindelo restaurants are closed during daytime and the restaurant food is mostly mediocre anyway. The homemade dinners are freshly prepared and tasty, excellent value for money. The owner Antonio is very helpful and a great source of local advise and knowledge. Many thanks to the owner for helping me with many practical tasks while in Mindelo, it would take me a lot more time and effort to figure it out by myself. Would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are in Mindelo, look no further.

Fred, the host was amazing. He was friendly, helpful and showed me around Mindelo. The room, bathroom and kitchen were top quality and I would give it a top ranking. Breakfast was also delicious. This was my favourite place in Cape Verde.

Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach.... 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal and 15mins walk to the city centre passed the beautiful marina. Umberto was a true gentleman, contact with him was outstanding, he sent me his number to WhatsApp, he was generous enough to pick me up from the ferry terminal when I arrived. Showed me around the area. Gave me key tips where to go what to eat etc. Arranged my taxi for a early flight and got me a discount. The property itself was far better than the photos. It's basically a very nice 3 bedroom apartment. However it spilt into 3 rooms. Double with private bathroom, and 2 twin rooms with a shared bathroom. The apartment is secure and on the 2nd floor. A outside locked gate, locked front door then a apartment door, plus a additional lock on your own private room. The apartment has a shared kitchen, you get your own cupboard with a key to get your rooms own dishes, pots and pans to use on the stove top and oven.large living area. Really great balcony with a view of th beach and mountains to watch the sunset. I stayed for 6 nights and if I was to return to mindelo I'd 100% return and stay again. The price was also unbelievable.
