Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre. The host are very nice and helpful. I had a late bus from Quito and arrived late at 9, Victor came to pick me up and they still cooked me a very nice dinner. Victor also provided me with very helpful information about Quilotoa loop. The room itself is also a nice one.

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal Doña Clarita Inn features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. We liked everything! The people there are super cute and helpful, the rooms are super comfortable and well thought through and the food is just incredible! For all the vegetarian hikers, I wouldn’t even think one second and book this place again - it was the best vegetarian food I have eaten in south america :)

Located in Isinliví, Hostal Taita Cristobal offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. This place is not as famous as the Llullu Llama Lodge but it offers the same quality and friendly atmosphere! The hosts (2 sisters) were super friendly, they lit the fireplace even though we were the only guests. The food was delicious and the portions were huge!

The owner was very welcoming and nice with every detail or need. Our overall experience was very good and the place we clean. Even towels were new. The breakfast was amazing! totally surpased my expectations.

Hosteria Alpaka Quilotoa in Quilotoa provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This 2-star guest house offers a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen. María and her husband run the hotel. They were lovely from the beginning to the end. She is a very gifted chef and will cook delicious meals for you while you stay there. Quilotoa itself seems to be going through a boom of people opening hostels and restaurants, we visited during low season and hence it seemed that the town was half empty. Prices are ridiculous cheap for what you can get. Our room had a king size bed, a little fireplace that warmed us through the night and a private bathroom with boiling water- everything that you can wish after a good day of hike. While in there we hiked Quilotoa rim, but also did the short hike to the bottom of the crater and back. All free hikes. Highly recommended to visit and to stay in this hostal. It’s conveniently place right by the entry of the town.
