The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

All in all, a perfect stay - location is great, just a couple of minutes walk from the Ferry point, and very close to the Nubian Museum. Just beware, it's a sandy walk, so you'll have to carry your suitcase. Elephantine Island is beautiful - narrow, traditional streets, easy to get lost, but in a fun way. Google Maps is good for getting you home. The breakfast was lovely - a lot of variety and enough substance to get you well into the day. Lovely restaurant on the roof, looking out over the Nile. Perfect setting. Very modern hotel - rooms have everything you will need, and the shower is hot and powerful. JJ the owner is very helpful and considerate.

The place is amazing and clean, and the view is breathtaking. Mohammed and Mostafa are very kind, generous, and genuine people. They helped us with everything from Flueca rides, money exchange, and routes. This is from now on my goto for whenever i come to Aswan.

It was the best place we stayed in our whole trip in Egypt! Everything was new and clean, AC worked great, breakfast was delicious and the host was super helpful. I can’t recommend it enough!

The view at the roof was exceptional! The location in elephantine is very good not to close but not to far from Aswan city, and Ahmed was very helpful and always with a smile!

Nuba Heart se nachází v destinaci Asuán a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. The rooms where spacious and clean. I live a balcony and my room had that, i could open my balcony and see allt of the village. It was a quick walk to the ferry station and stores. Upon arrival Tamer send is a cab to gather all our belongings and bring us to the guest house. My children and his children played for hours. They didn’t want to leave. Daily we had breakfast and dinner at the guest house and it was delicious. We had a hard time finding a cheap ride home, Tamer was able to arrange a ride for us at a rate we could afford. If your looking for a safe space single or family, this is an awesome guest house to stay at. The picture below is the view as you approach the island.

We are so glad to stay in this little island away from the busy streets and hustlers. It's so quiet and everyone in the island is so welcoming, greetings received from everyone. There's a ferry to get to east side and the pier is only 4 min away from the guest house. The ferry fair is 10EGP per person. Only takes 2-3 mins to cross the river. Ferry runs 24 hours so very easy to go around. Abu came with his motorboat to pick us up when we arrived and we were send off as well when we left. Village walking tour and the felucca trip with Mustafa (Abu's cousin) was the best time we had in Egypt. He's so friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an amazing time with them. The home cook dinner prepared by Abu's family were delicious. Abu can organise all kind of trips for you and you can book their motorboat to go to a different island with very reasonable price. Thanks for the warm and greatest hospitality from Abu and his family. We had an amazing stay and we will miss this lovely little island.

If you are planning a trip to Aswan, Elephantine Island on the Nile , La Terrace Aswan is the guest house you NEED to stay at. The house is so lovely and spotlessly clean. The view of Aswan Corniche from the wonderful terrace are fabulous day and night. Now on to Mohammed, the proprietor. The nicest, kindest, most genuine man you’ll meet. He looked after us like we were family. We flew into Aswan from Cairo but when we arrived in Cairo our luggage wasn’t. We messaged Mohammed just to let him know what happened and even though at this stage we still hadn’t met he took ownership of the issue and just ran with it. He had a car meet us at the airport which took us straight to a pharmacy to buy toiletries before taking us to the guest house. The following morning after making sure we had some breakfast he guided us to a shopping centre where we could purchase replacement clothing. In addition to all this Mohammed looked after all our bookings for tours and trips. He well and truly saved our holiday. The beds in the room were so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful.
