Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!! I felt like a member of the family from the very first second. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The food cooked by Mery, if desired at extra cost, but the quality and flavour better than any Fijian gourmet restaurant. The tours I went on with Sam were unique. Lots of stories and wisdom that made me laugh, along with the cultural knowledge of the country and its people. I will miss you. Out of a possible 10 points I would give you an 11. If you think about Homestay experience, this is the perfect place ! Sarah and Sam are absolutely amazing! More than helpful, really kind and mindful! Thank you for your kindness and knowledge! Home is close to the airport and a bus stop. Sarah and Sam have really good tips on how to visit the island and will adapt to your way of traveling:) The food is absolutely great, and I garanty, you won't leave the table hungry ;) The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need, even a newly added AC !
