Due to its remote location, we had a nice experience in French countryside.

The restaurants of Sarlat can be reached on foot if you are willing to walk uphill for 20 to 25 minutes after dinner. Olivier and Naina have super tips for restaurants and sightseeing and do everything to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible.

We have come to this region for 20 years and this was the best stay! Excellent communication, very caring and responsive hosts, easy checkin, great local rec's. Very lovely accommodations. Loved the way our hosts renovated the facility, keeping the character of the old building and updating with every modern convenience. Gorgeous, fun art and photography everywhere. Well-appointed common kitchen. Enjoyed meeting fellow travelers yet had total privacy. Room was thoughtfully arranged and warm, perfect for late November. Excellent location. We will be back soon!

Franck and Nelly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious too! Located in Beynac-et-Cazenac, 33 km from Gourdon-en-quercy, La Source, Beynac, Dordogne provides free WiFi. Everything was lovely. From meeting the lovely Lorena who gave us a tour of the property and explained everything to the minute we departed everything was perfect. It was very private and quiet. We stayed in the cottage beside the larger building. We did have the use of the kitchen and laundry facilities in the larger building but we did not need them. We had a small kitchen in the cottage which perfectly suited our needs. The fact that there are laundry facilities was very nice. And there is a larger kitchen if you wish to do more cooking. Everything in the cottage was in perfect working order and the layout was very functional. The location next to the castle was wonderful and we were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. The walk up to the castle was challenging at 30C but it was very interesting and you can drive up to the top for parking if you wish. The cottage has a beautiful outdoor patio area where we could have a glass of wine and watch the hot air balloons rising above the valley. It was the most comfortable place that we have stayed on our trip so far. If we are in the area again I would love to stay there .
