Guests at this self catering holiday accommodation can purchase a welcome hamper including half a bottle of local wine, local cheese, pâté, tea, coffee, milk and other supplies from the property for their stay. They have access to a shared kitchen and living area. Everything was lovely. From meeting the lovely Lorena who gave us a tour of the property and explained everything to the minute we departed everything was perfect. It was very private and quiet. We stayed in the cottage beside the larger building. We did have the use of the kitchen and laundry facilities in the larger building but we did not need them. We had a small kitchen in the cottage which perfectly suited our needs. The fact that there are laundry facilities was very nice. And there is a larger kitchen if you wish to do more cooking. Everything in the cottage was in perfect working order and the layout was very functional. The location next to the castle was wonderful and we were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. The walk up to the castle was challenging at 30C but it was very interesting and you can drive up to the top for parking if you wish. The cottage has a beautiful outdoor patio area where we could have a glass of wine and watch the hot air balloons rising above the valley. It was the most comfortable place that we have stayed on our trip so far. If we are in the area again I would love to stay there .
