We had a lovely, extensive breakfast. Our kids loved the swings and slide in the huge, green garden. And they loved to play with the house cat. The owner is super friendly and very helpful!

Very friendly retired couple, who are fond of walking themselves. We were there for two nights, for a short ski. We slept well in very good beds, we enjoyed a good breakfast (self made yoghourt, marmelade and fruit salad, ham prepared by Christian himself who was a butcher) chatting with the owners, and also had dinner there, which was very nice and copious - and I . It's less than 15 drive to ski Gérardmer and 25 to La Bresse-Honecke.

Located in Étival-Clairefontaine in the Lorraine region, La Marmotte du Vivier has a garden. With free private parking, the property is 44 km from Gérardmer Lake and 46 km from Epinal Train Station. It is one of the coziest places we’ve stayed in and we do travel a lot. Many cute details in the interior, the place was very comfortable and definitely had everything we need. Usually we like to try new places and with this one I felt that I would like to come back here again!
