Villa Riva se nachází u moře v destinaci Jelsa. Pláž Fontana Beach se nachází 700 metrů daleko a St. Stephen's Cathedral in Hvar 31 km. The apartment was spotless and smelled amazing. It looked exactly like the photos. The sheets and bed were super comfortable. The parking lot is nearby (a 6-minute walk). You’ll need to go up a few stairs to the apartment, but the view from the apartment is absolutely worth it. Speaking of the view… WOW! It’s magical just sitting there, enjoying the moment. Even though the apartment is across from a small port, the noise wasn’t an issue at all. The soundproof windows help, especially if you’re a light sleeper like me. In fact, I slept like a rock the entire stay! We truly felt at home. Marija is an incredible host. The check-in, check-out, and parking all went smoothly thanks to her clear instructions and assistance. She’s easy to communicate with, friendly, responsive, helpful, and above all, kind. On our last day, my husband had to go to the ER due to food poisoning. It was a long night, and finding another place to stay for his recovery would’ve been difficult. Even though she had another guest arriving, Marija kindly arranged for us to stay one extra night so he could rest before our long journey home. There are things in life we simply can’t thank enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Marija! You and your lovely home will not be forgotten. We’ll definitely miss Jelsa and hope to return soon for another wonderful, relaxing vacation. P.S. Don’t hesitate to purchase the dried lavender and lavender oil available at the apartment. They’re among the best I’ve ever bought. Perfect for a relaxing bath and a beautiful reminder of this magical place.

Maria, our host was very nice and welcomed us with her hart. Apartment was a bit older but everything set-up nicely and practical. It is pretty big and had nice balcony with great view of the fortress. It is located close to ferry port and bus station. Yes, there are steps to take. Beware. But it is trully good value and priceless croatian hospitality.

Guesthouse Kampanel je tradiční dalmatský kamenný dům, který byl kompletně zrekonstruován v roce 2014. Nachází se v samém centru Hvaru, asi 50 metrů od hlavního náměstí. Very central location, next to the cathedral. The room was very clean, charming and had everything we needed. The view from the room was beautiful! The host was very friendly, and helped us with everything, from assisting us during the check in to suggesting activities and places to visit! Highly recommended! :)

Guest House Lucijo se nachází v destinaci Vrboska a poskytuje ubytování se soukromými balkony. Tento penzion se 3 hvězdičkami nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu. We loved the location in the center of Vrboska near marina in an old stone house for our family of five (three children aged between 2 and 7). Fully equipped apartment, including washing machine and dishwasher, stocked kitchenware, towels, etc. so really not much else to ask for. Our host even welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and was at disposal to help in any way during our stay. We also had a private terrace with a dining table and spacious enough to store our bikes. Nice beaches nearby, even sandy which children love, but using bikes to get there was much easier than walking and we wouldn't bother driving. While there was only one separate bedroom where we slept with our youngest child, the older two children slept on a big sofa in the main room so the apartment is perfectly suitable even for a family with three young children. Public parking lot is about 300 meters away with plenty of space, that’s where we parked the whole time. There’s a smaller one close to the apartment, which the host recommended we use, but it’s not always free and the road to get there is somewhat narrow, so we didn’t bother. The public lot worked just fine for us. Overall we had a great stay and if/when we return to the island of Hvar we'd be perfectly happy to choose Guest house Lucijo again.
