We originally planned to stay 14 nights… but ended up staying four and a half weeks – and even that wasn’t enough. Arirang Homestay is the kind of place where you arrive and instantly know: This feels like home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful location with views of the sea and the lush green valley is pure bliss. They ensure that the accommodation always looks better and better. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast, and whenever we needed anything, it was taken care of immediately – even arranging a scooter for us at a great price. But the most special thing? The staff are more than just friendly – they became family. We laughed together, shared stories, and even shed tears when it was time to say goodbye. We will absolutely be back – and once you’ve been here, you’ll understand why it’s so easy to fall in love with this place and its wonderful people. Kalamoana House er staðsett 700 metra frá South East Beach og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. The location of the facility is great: away from the hustle and bustle but close to any services and just a few meters from the sea and the port. Here you can rent bicycles, very convenient. Everything was very clean and fragrant. But the highlight is the people who run the accommodation, wonderful and very nice people, we had a great time. The breakfast was very good. If we ever return to Gili Trawangan, we would definitely choose this accommodation again. Thank you so much to all the staff, you were amazing and made our stay even better!

Tatasya heimagisting er með garð og er staðsett í Senaru, 1,1 km frá Sindang Gila-fossinum, 2,2 km frá Tiu Kelep-fossinum og 20 km frá Umar Maya-fossinum. I stayed at Tatasya Homestay in Senaru and they were incredible from start to finish. They helped me plan and execute my Mount Rinjani trek and made everything smooth and stress-free. They held my bags while I hiked, arranged a car ride to Kuta after my trek, and even welcomed me back with fresh coconuts. After the hike, they let me shower and rest in a room before heading out, which was such a blessing after three days in the mountains. The hospitality here is top-notch, super warm, helpful, and kind people. That alone makes this place worth staying at. One small downside was that they didn’t mention the hot springs wouldn’t be hot because the lake was too high during rainy season. Also, I did the 3-day/2-night trek, and while it was beautiful, it was pretty brutal. On the second day, you summit at sunrise, hike down to the lake, then up the other side of the crater, it’s a really tough push. I’m not sure the extra day is worth it unless you’re super set on seeing the lake. If you're looking for value and a challenging but more manageable hike, the 2-day/1-night trek might be the better choice. Overall though, I 100% recommend Tatasya Homestay if you're heading to Rinjani. They took such good care of me, and I’m grateful for everything they did.

Boasting a garden and views of river, Stay Together is a recently renovated homestay situated in Tetebatu, 13 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest. We felt right at home at stay together! Egik and Ika are amazing people. They are so welcoming and kind. We absolutely loved staying in Tetebatu at their homestay. The room is really modern and super new. They take really good care of the homestay. The garden is amazing and you’re just sleeping in between of ricefields. We ate every night at the homestay and the food was just amazing! You can just see the Mount Rinjani from your window. The surrounding is super calm and so beautiful. We also did a rice field tour managed by Egik. The tour was really interesting and our guide Harry told us everything about the plants. Thank you so so much for taking care of us and cooking the most delicious food! It was an absolute pleasure and we’re definitely coming back!

Aulia Bungalows býður upp á gistirými með verönd og útsýni yfir ána, í um 16 km fjarlægð frá Tetebatu-apaskóginum. Gistirýmið er með garðútsýni og svalir. The owners were very nice, and the bungalow is in an amazing location sorrounded by rice fields and nature. The food that we ordered was always delicious and prepared fresh.

Bayan Exotic Homestay býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði og er staðsett í innan við 8,3 km fjarlægð frá Tiu Kelep-fossinum og 9,4 km frá Sindang Gila-fossinum í Senaru. The homestay was in a very nice area. Surrounded by rice fields. The drive up there was also beautiful. You have a nice view on Mount Rinjani. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The owner is super nice and helpful. The food they offer is very delicious and the portions are huge compared to the Warungs. The little hut we were staying in was super nice and looked quite new. There locals around are also super nice. There was a ceremony going on when we arrived and they invited us to join. Felt very safe and welcome here.

Dira Bungalows er staðsett í Tetebatu, í innan við 13 km fjarlægð frá Teatuteb-apaskóginum og 4 km frá Jeruk Manis-fossinum. I loved everything! So lovely, warm, and welcoming people. I loved talking to them. Also, the food was amazing. The tour we had was amazing too, and overall we are satisfied with our stay, we will definitely come back again!
