It was very much a family endeavor. Smey built the cabins himself. They were set in a lovely, clean, and well tended garden. Smey was always helpful in answering questions, suggesting restaurants etc. and we hired him for a day tour of some nearby villages, which was interesting. The Homestay is away from town, so we rented a scooter and that worked out perfectly but tuktuks are also available. All in all Tribal Homestay was a perfect place for us in Ban Lung and we felt lucky to have spent time there.

She was really friendly and we quickly felt part of the family!! The place is great, with a big terrace on the top. You can rent motorbike here for a good price. Room was clean and comfortable. Navina is very helpful and honest, you can ask her for advice and she can help you to organise your trip in Ratanakiri! The location is beautiful, with great views and at a convenient situation to visit the main attractions. In a cosy restaurant next to the guesthouse their delicious tradicional grandma's noodle soup is served and is worth a try.
