Ideally set in the centre of Anuradhapura, Lake House Home Stay offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. For a budget room, it's surprisingly comfortable and pleasant.The washroom was clean and big enough.Everything in the room and washroom is beautifully organized.Their hospitality was amazing.The owners and their family were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering valuable information about the tour... Hope we will visit again hear.

Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort er staðsett í Habawewa, 38 km frá Kumbichchan Kulama Tank og 39 km frá Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Boðið er upp á ókeypis reiðhjól og garðútsýni. Perfect location 2 mins walk from the entrance to the national park. Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

It’s a peaceful oasis which is new and clean and overlooks a beautiful lotus covered lake. There are all kinds of bird life in the garden including wild peacocks. The hosts have created a paradise and were truly the most accommodating and kind hosts we met. We actually moved there from an alternate guest house in Habarana because the first one was in a dreadful state and very noisy. The Lake Wind is just the opposite. We are two older cousins, discerning travellers, seeking comfort at our ages and had the two rooms with lots of space in each suite. Big clean bathroom. We had a delicious dinner cooked by our hosts and then a delicious breakfast served up in a gorgeous hut on stilts overlooking the lake. I recommend this place as the best place to stay if you want to see the sights around Habarana. It’s convenient to all attractions. It’s far enough away from the main road to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep on the big comfortable beds. The showers have good pressure and hot water- unlike the first place we had stayed at. They even provided a plug socket for all shapes of electrical plugs.

Kalhara is the perfect host , highly attentive and thoughtful about every small detail. The rooms are spacious, with a minimal aesthetic, well maintained and super clean. Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

Oleena Home Stay er staðsett í Habarana, 11 km frá Pidurangala-klettinum og 12 km frá Sigiriya-klettinum, og býður upp á garð- og garðútsýni. Breakfast was great. We had variety of local fruit. Personal attitude was awesome. Owner helped us with our trips and transportation.
