Jami Hotel was the highlight of our trip! Not only was our stay extremely comfortable, but the owner really took care of us. We saw animals from the restaurant, including a monitor lizard, crocodile, king fisher, parrots, etc. The best part was the safari they organized for us. We saw 3 leopards and a sloth bear during our full day safari. They even prepared our breakfast and lunch with plenty of water. We had prebooked with a different safari company the day before and were a bit disappointed with the first trip. With Jami, we really couldn't ask for a better driver or a better host. They made our stay so special.

I had the best stay here!!! The host was extreamly sweet and helpsom person! Making sure that you didn’t need anything. Very generous and good breakfast and dinner. Excelent location. Short walk to the town and right next to Tissa lake and fruit bat wiew point. I got safari organised by the place and it was beyond any expectations. I saw every possible animal the park has including leopard. And planty of elephants. I give the highest caracter and recomend it for a stay you will not be dissapointed about.

The property is very well maintained and in a lovely garden setting. We were the only guests as it was the off season but the service was still top notch. One of our group was ill for the stay and the staff were very kind and caring, and provided cold compresses, a tonic and dinner to the room for her. The dinner they provided for the group was ample and incredibly tasty. During that we enjoyed hearing about the property, the area and their experiences. This stay felt like a real home away from home thank you!

The best stay in Sri Lanka so far. Priya was so helpful! He sent us the bus schedule from Ella to Tissa, he drove us around the lake to see crocodiles and birds, and bats at a late time, he also arranged the safari in Yala for us for a great price, and prepared an early breakfast before leaving at 4:30. He drove us with his tuktuk when we needed to catch the bus to Tangalle and checked that we had successfully arrived. The room was also cozy and the location of the hotel is not far from the main road.

Very accommodating, they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Cool treehouse like structure overlooking a gorgeous rice field. They arranged a Safari in Yala Park, drivers, transportation to Ella and drove me to the bank. They also took me to a spot with a bat migration! Very safe, secure spot too. Great host family and space!
