"I had an incredible stay at Hounza Lounge! The room with a balcony offered breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and Diran Mountain – waking up to that scenery was a dream. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, making it feel like a true retreat. The staff were amazing, especially Amir, who was thoughtful and seemed to anticipate all my needs. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying for a month because of the peaceful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Karimabad Bazaar. A special thank to the owner, Noushad, who went above and beyond to help me organize my trips, guide, taxidriver and make sure I had everything I needed. This is by far the most peaceful place in Karimabad, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Arsalan was an exceptional host and took great care of me during my stay. From the scrumptious green tea and cookie on arrival through to the unforgettable tours that he took me on with excellent value. And when I came down with food poisoning from a local eatery, he went over and above to ensure I was taken care of and nursed back to health. Furthermore, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the WiFi was top notch for this region. Also the shower had excellent hot water and they have solar power so any local power outages will not disrupt you. They also have an additional cafe on site where you can enjoy local and international cuisine from their local chef. Skardu is an amazing place and if you have the opportunity to visit, there is no other place I recommend more because honestly Arsalan deserves to have this place booked out every night. I feel so privileged to have stayed here and meet such a gracious host and his lovely and warm family.

The hospitality of the managers, Abid Amin and Asim Amin, was beyond exceptional — such kind, respectful, and down-to-earth individuals who go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, clean and cozy rooms, and a peaceful environment that's perfect for relaxation. The restaurant serves fresh, delicious local food that left me wanting more — definitely one of the best meals I had during my trip! Whether you're visiting for a night or planning a longer stay, I highly recommend Rakaposhi Amin Hotel. Very quiet and peaceful near edge of town. The guesthouse is located at the back of the property with views of beautiful terraced garden and surrounding peaks. Facilities are comfortable. Siraj was an amazing host, very welcoming and attentive. He was really helpful with arranging tours as well.

Staff was super helpful and definitely went out of their way in arranging for drivers and all other needs during the stay. Hotel is relatively new, so rooms and facilities still in pretty good condition. Some shops restaurants within walking distance. Airport is between 5-10 minutes depending on traffic/driver. Need to repeat how helpful staff was, no hesitation to sort out any issues.
