Hostels in Vlorë

Excellent small family run hostel 10mins walk from the Old Town/Bus station and 25mins walk to the beach. Nearby the hostel are many cheap cafes, bakeries and supermarkets, restaurants are a 5-10min walk. The comfortable AC pod beds are well designed with lots of space, a reading light, socket, locker and curtain. Kitchen is well stocked and cleaned regularly. The amazing family really do go out of their way to keep everything clean and make sure you are enjoying your stay. Highly recommended, and make sure you meet Luna the dog. She's a star. (On Google maps look for Cliff Beach, near Hotel Liro for a great (free) clear water swimming spot)

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hostel. Nana and her family received me with such kindness that I felt at home immediately. They were really helpful and attentive. They even gave me a gift before I left. The facilities were spotless, the room was spacious, the beds very comfortable, with clean sheets and comfortable pillows, and there was a big common area and two beautiful gardens to hang out and relax. The hostel is literally two minutes away from the bus station and really close to all the main attractions and the old city. It's a very convenient location, with supermarkets, bakeries and everything you need at hand. There is also a city bus that can take you to the beach in a few minutes. I would definitely go back there and I highly recommend it.
