The staff is very friendly and they organise games and bbqs then is very easy to meet new people. Rooms have private bathroom and a/c. They have free basic breakfast and cheap bar in the evenings. They also have apartments if you need more privacy. The hostel is next to the tram station, in front of a coles express 24/7 and very close to domino pizza. There is free parking onsite and also you can park in the streets around.

The reality is that this hostel provides the cheapest possible stay in the best possible location. The 14-bed dorms are grim, but considering that most travellers only use beds to sleep it is passable. I would only recommend if you're on a serious budget and are willing to experience a bit of discomfort.

Have travelled most of Australia and through Asia as this is the best hostel I have stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly and the amenities are amazing. Pizza oven in the new kitchen was impressive. Menu is cheap too. Look forward to staying again.
