The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He was very flexible with check-in and let us store our bags and use the kitchen after check-out. The location is very close to the bus stop and the house is lovely. We stayed three separate times as we went through La Paz, would highly recommend!

Individual charging and light sockets near the beds and designated lockers. Lockers were big (could fit both my travel bags), showers were hot, many toilets available. No kitchen to cook anything but they have hot water and a microwave. Staff were excellent!! Gave lots of local tips and I booked my uyuni tour with them as well!

It is close to nice restaurants, cafe, tour companies and Teleférico (purple line). Good hot shower. We stayed over the weekend, so it was a little noisy outside at night, but it didn’t bother us much.

61-yr-old female solo traveler here, the hostel was perfectly lovely. You can't beat the location, gorgeous old former home on a cobblestone street, and staff were welcoming and accommodating. Excellent breakfast in the downstairs café. I traveled off-season so the nights were chilly, but plenty of blankets on the bed of my private room. Be prepared for a lot of steps, hostal is up one floor, like many remodels each room required a step or two up or down -- I use a cane and did just fine. Two thumbs up!

Very friendly hosts (a lovely Bolivian family, always ready to give you tips about what to do in the city and even organize tours for you, at a very good price). They made me feel very cosy. Location: just a block away from the yellow cable-car (teleférico) Well-equipped kitchen (very rare in La Paz hostels).

Great location, huge spacious kitchen, friendly staff, good breakfast (you can’t go wrong with marrequetas with jam and butter and coca tea), comfy private rooms (though a little bit tiny but that just made it more cozy), nice hot showers, all in a quaint old house that smells like wood. Overall a great place with a laid-back, hippie/bohemian vibe. We loved our three day stay here!
