Even though we knew about all the positive online comments about Johnny, the owner, he exceeded all expectations by enriching our holiday with great ideas for trips, his local connections, and even a (basically) private sailing trip near the beautiful Interlaken on a gorgeous restored wooden sailing yacht which he organizes frequently.

Amazing views Cozy Authentic It was the original hotel of Wengen. There is a bit of a walk but it’s magical thru the trees, waterfalls, past cows. Several bathrooms Kitchen Dining area

Owners were so kind and helpful. So easygoing and hospitable. Super large room with lots of space. Location is a little bit of a walk but so perfect for anyone trying to hike or backpack.

Good location, we walked to Interlaken. Nice view of the forest from the room. We knew that it is a shared bathroom room, so we were ok with that. The room itself is very good, comfortable beds. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly and there is always a toilet available even though the hotel was booked full. Good breakfast, large selection of food and drinks. Free parking in front of the hotel. There is also a shared kitchen which we used to prepare some simple meals.
