Amazing hostel in a great location! The staff is incredibly friendly and will help you with anything you need. The free breakfast is awesome, and the rest of the food they sell in the restaurant is absolutely delicious! They also have happy hour from 5-9 when you can get 2 drinks for the price of 1, which is a great deal! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena!

It was a great experience. Location: Location was great, there are a lot of things you can do in Getsemani. It’s also super close from the old town, so you can actually walk everywhere with no need of uber or taxis. 10 minute walk from everywhere you’d want to go to. I made a group of friends on the first day, so I never had to walk alone at night. If I had to walk alone at night I wouldn’t have felt safe (especially as a girl), but Uber can fix that (they’re hard to catch though). Meeting people: I wouldn’t say this is a party hostel, or a super social hostel. They have an activity board for each day, but they don’t follow through all the time. They do have a WhatsApp group, where they post relevant information, but where you can also chat to other guests and try to meet people by your own means. I recommend just getting out there, asking on the group chat if anyone wants to hangout and you’re set to go! I meat a great group of solo traveler’s. Everyone wants to meet people!! Staff: super friendly staff, they’ll answer to all of your questions, and help you out! The breakfast ladies were lovely, remembered if you have any food allergies, and helped out with anything you might have needed! Facilites: The bunks are amazing. You have your own personal space, and there’s a black-out blind (which is not on the pictures I think), and that blind gives you the feeling of being in your own room. Everything is quite new, and super clean. They also have a beach “club” which they’ll take you for 40.000 pesos. It has a very nice vibe, and nice food. Wouldn’t say the beach is great but it was super nice to chill, or play beach volleyball. Here’s were I met everyone I hang out with :) Overall: super nice hostel, and most importantly: you can actually sleep and rest at night! since it isn’t a party hostel, it is super quiet at night, and it’s not close to a party street either. Great for remote work!

I had a great stay at this hostel! Everything went very well and I really enjoyed the city. The location was perfect — right in Old Town Cargatena, which made getting around super easy. Maybe the cleanliness of the bathrooms could be given a bit more attention. But really liked the place and staff are excellent!

    Best hostel breakfast ever! Always a choice of fresh options, really substantial and was great every morning. Free coffee, drinking water and ice 24/7. Hostel is in a fab location and the staff were incredible friendly and helpful - cheap laundry service too!

    Best hostel we’ve ever stayed in, great location, lovely homely atmosphere but no 1 is the staff they are the best SO helpful and accommodating! Massive shout out to the wonderful Jorge who owns/runs the hostel who is truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever met and really made our stay in Cartagena as he gave us the best advice and really looked out for us, ensuring we had the best time.

    This is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many. The location is amazing, the staff is lovely, the dorms are great and well equipped (curtains on beds, AC, own power plug and light by bed, locker), there are social areas to hang out, the breakfast is great and there is someone at reception 24/7, so it's very safe. There's even a Netflix room. And the cats are sweet. I was even able to use the pool and shower before check-in, as I arrived early.
