Lotte is an amazing hostel. I immediately felt at home the minute I was received by Carmen. There is free coffee, cereal, etc. in the fully equipped kitchen. The water in the shower is hot. The private room for 2 is cozy and clean. The location is impeccable, Lotte sits right below the castle, close to the trailhead. Although it’s in the old town, at night it’s very quiet. The bus stop is also just a few steps away, convenient for travelers who want to head towards the train station.

    Loved staying here. Super cute, cosy, clean. Very friendly staff. Amazing location, in the old town. No wonder it has got the title of best hostel in all of Germany from hostelworld several years.

    This hostel is super homey and warm. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. The shared space is perfect for meeting new people, the space is so comfortable with ambient lighting. And there’s helpful tips pinned around the hostel, also very inclusive and multicultural.

    The hostel is very close to the main train station. The staff was very friendly and had lots of good tips. The lockers in the dorm are fine, and if you need it, you can borrow a padlock (with a small deposit). Every bed in the dorm had a nightlight and an extra socket (except the 1 bunk bed in the 6-bed dorm).

    EVERYTHING!!! I have never felt more safe and comfortable. the location was amazing, the staff are beautiful and so incredibly helpful. facilities were great with wifi, power plugs, tea/coffee, cereals and a incredibly homey living room. best hostel I have ever stayed at!!!
