Excellent service, the people at the reception were always nice and attentive and so were the waiters at the bar. I stayed here with a friend for a marathon and many other guests were there for the same reason so the atmosphere was excellent. Grrat facilities, amazing location and for a decent price. We will be staying here again in the futire

I really enjoyed my stay at Akelarre! The staff went out of their way to help me and were incredibly accommodating. The hostel itself was really clean and quiet in a really nice area with only 3 metro stops from the center. Cute main area and overall the best hostel experience I've had so far in Spain.

Everything was bright and clean. The people were friendly and there was a happy vibe. The common areas were large and comfortable. The check-in and out were fast and easy.

the central location is great. while I was there they upgraded their infrastructure by replacing the washer and dryer, microwave and one of the refrigerators. can’t say enough about the staff. treated me like they had known me all their lives.

LOVED the free coffee/tea all day long - lifesaving as a remote worker. The facilities were excellent. I appreciated that there were extra bathrooms in the hallway aside from the one located within the room. The beds were comfortable, room was nice and warm, and the common area was cozy.

nice staff and plenty of public space to relax, cook and eat. The location is comfortably short distance away from the center, preferably by bus which is 1.35 euro cheap.

We were able to get a room with bunk beds to ourselves, with a private bathroom. It was clean, and comfortable. We don't usually stay in hostels, but this one gave us a room to ourselves!
