“Old fashioned place, this is not a hotel, it's a youth hostel, 5-storey elevator dangerous and barely entered one man, aggressive team lacking politeness, do not recommend”
“Horrible place in dangerous quarter. Drug addicts in the building. Wi-fi not working. Phone equally not working. Very noisy. Unpleasant sense of total lack of security. Would not recommend. Also, it should be called youth hostel rather hotel.”
“I just stayed one night to take a train at the Gare du Nord and the location is very convenient, basically 6-8 min walking distance. The room was very clean, confortable and of a higher standing than what we usually find in Youth Hostel, so very good value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't take the breakfast there, so I cannot say anything about it.”
“Really well designed, building with modern facilities. The hostel attracted budget travelers rather than “backpackers” which I liked, easy to make friends in common areas too. The Metro Station is one minute walk away. If you’re hungry after a night out, go to Golden Food across the road, they’re open late most nights.”
“Very near metro station, which itself is connected to Gare du Nord so can be walked to from there without changing lines or going outside (useful if raining on arrival!). Hotel is very basic but if your needs are simple they will be met. E.g. Only one towel in single room but linen clean. Tiny bathroom but everything functioning and clean. Bed OK. Locality is lively and interesting (youth hostel nearby), not threatening for solo travellers.”
