This was the best accommodation I have ever stayed at. The staff are so friendly and take time to get to know you at the dinners and events. The washrooms are very clean and I met amazing friends there. The local tour was great and the restaurant on site was so convenient. I will definitely stay again and recommend to others!

If I could give it a 10+, I absolutely would. I’ve stayed in many hostels, but this one is easily in my top three—actually, let’s call it my number one. You’re welcomed with genuine warmth, and you immediately notice that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Everything is clearly explained. Everyone gets a large locker at reception, a personal safe by the bed, a power outlet next to the bed, and a curtain for privacy. The air conditioning works well, and in the evening, wooden sunshades are lowered for those sleeping on the first floor. Breakfast is included, as well as coffee, tea and water. Every time you pass by, you feel the calm, the cleanliness, and nothing is ever too much when you ask a question. The smoothies and banana pancakes are absolutely delicious. And… they clean your room or make your bed. Always respectful, always spotless If you work remotely or love Joya, this is definitely the right place for you. Upstairs, there’s a workspace with a view that’s honestly breathtaking. I booked two nights and left for Java in the evening on my scooter. After five days, I messaged them again to book one more night to break up my trip to Denpasar—and got a reply within two minutes. I’d say: book it! You really won’t regret it. Just look at all the reviews :)

I had a wonderful stay. The staff were genuinely nice and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, centrally situated while still peaceful and quiet.

🌿 Such a lovely place! The hostel is new, clean, and cozy. There are 6 beds in the room — one female dorm and one mixed. Everything feels very fresh and well maintained. 😊 The staff are simply amazing — always smiling, kind, and helpful. Gede, who speaks English very well, was always around both in the morning and evening and helped with everything I needed. The rest of the team was also very friendly and created a warm atmosphere. 🧹 Cleanliness is 10/10! They clean every day and even make the beds. The mattresses are soft and comfortable, each bed has its own light and small shelf. With a 50,000 IDR deposit, you get a personal locker box in the room — very safe and convenient. The air conditioner works perfectly. 🚿 The shower was one of the best I had in Bali! There’s strong water pressure and real hot water — not just warm, but properly hot if you want. You can easily adjust the temperature, and it feels amazing after a long day exploring. 🍳 Breakfast is included, and you can choose from several options. My favorite was the sunny side eggs, but the banana pancakes were also super delicious! They usually serve some fruits and mint on the side, and during breakfast they ask if you’d like tea or coffee — a nice touch. There’s also a small station where you can refill your water bottle anytime and have tea or coffee throughout the day. 🐕 When I first arrived, there were several dogs near the entrance. Luckily, they were busy eating, but sometimes they bark at new guests. If you’re afraid of dogs, it’s good to know in advance. 🎒 If you arrive before check-in, you can safely leave your luggage — there’s a space for that. The hostel also offers tours. I joined the Mount Batur Sunrise Tour for 350,000 IDR, and it was a 10/10 experience for the price. Everything was well organized, even though we didn’t reach the lvery top.
