I stayed in mid-Dec for 2 nights when this branch had just opened. Few facilities like the cafe, bar and open stage had not yet opened during my stay, and are not part of this review. 1) Location - The hostel is located near Chapora, Hilltop, the beach, so on. Easy to traverse the party district by scooty and also to make a base to travel in and around Goa. 2) Staff - Mayur bhai and his team are very hospitable and approachable, and took time to take me to local spots like Aram Bar. 3) Parties / events - Through HOT, I attended underground techno parties, which I genuinely found to be better than the ones I attended in the past. Talking to HOT would help in planning your Goan night life. Overall, I spent my time chilling with HOT folks and partying hard. Grateful for the fun times.

The best hostel in goa. Had amazing time here. The rooms are spacious, the in-house kitchen has amazing food, good parking space, the hosts ( priyansha and abhay) are really amazing, very comforting, very inclusive nature. The seating arrangement is very open and full of greenery. They have lot of options of events and games for breaking the ice for solo travellers. This is by far the best hostel i have seen for solo travellers. Definitely coming again soon for sure.

I had a truly exceptional stay at the Deams Hostel, thanks to the owner Ravi's outstanding hospitality and knowledge. Ravi not only greeted me with kindness but also took the time to provide a comprehensive explanation of the surrounding area and its offerings. From the best places to visit to where to find great deals, his informative guidance greatly enhanced my trip. What impressed me most was Ravi's presence at the hostel and his commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly. He even went the extra mile by addressing minor details like the repetitive music played by fellow travelers, showcasing his attentiveness to guest satisfaction. The bar staff, although their names slipped my mind, were equally impressive. Always friendly and wearing a smile, they delivered excellent service throughout my stay. The welcoming atmosphere they created made it easy to relax and connect with other guests. Additionally, the chef's culinary skills were exceptional, providing a diverse range of delicious dishes at reasonable prices. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and taste of the food offered. The hostel's common area was well-maintained and served as a comfortable space for socializing and unwinding. One standout feature was the option to play your own music, adding to the vibrant ambiance of the place. It is evident that the management prioritizes creating an enjoyable and inclusive environment for all guests.

    Location was very convenient as the beach was a 5 minute walk and they are many good restaurants around the hostel. The four people dorm was comfortable and there was enough space for us to keep our luggage. Further, the staff was helpful and friendly as they helped us commute when required and catered to our requirements. Mitra is a very budget friendly place and perfect to visit with friends.

    Perfect nest for backpackers and solo travelers! The hosts were of the same spirit as the guests - very caring and compassionate. The fellow guests were a diverse group of adventures of all ages and origins. Plus, the location is 2mins on foot from the excellent Vagator beach. Fantastic stay - would always come back to stay at Mitra hostel.
