Des Artistes Budget Rooms

Des Artisted Budget Rooms offers rooms and dormitory rooms in Rome, just a 2-minute walk from Castro Pretorio Metro Station. WiFi is free throughout.

All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and have a shared bathroom. Each features a classic décor and independent heating. It’s the best accommodation I have ever lived in Italy. I have tight budget traveling around, but this hotel exceeds my expectations. I pay for Hostel price but get hotel service. There are enough charger holes in the room and enough showers which is always clean and dry on floor. There are hairdryers in each shower. The bed is comfortable and large enough. The surrounding is safe and quiet during my stay. The people at the desk are friendly and helpful. I can not only put my luggage but also take a shower before check-in!

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
