Very cheap, this hotel seems to have been built recently. Everything is very new and in great condition. The bathrooms and the beds are very clean. There is storage space under your bed and a free locker for small valuables (can't fit a bag), and you have hangers and a small shelf inside the bed. The location is great too, just a 2 minute walk from the train station.

i loved the homely feeling. i got to know the owner a bit. i was able to get work done in the lobby. Bed was confortable and theres a small locker that i could store my things over the days. very clean and pristine. its in a nice neighborhood, close to a river and gardens, a shrine and a beautiful temple with a big park. would definately stay there again.

The place is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Tokyo for foreigners and people looking to experience the hip side of Tokyo. The beds are great and bar is wonderful. Yoshi the owner is a super cool dude and excellent bartender. I met a lot of nice people here as well as in the area.

So clean, they clean everyday and it’s always spotless. The host is so lovely. Her dog is so cute and friendly too! Sometimes he’ll greet you at the door, this meant so much to me especially when I was missing my dog at home. The neighborhood is AMAZING. I love Koenji so much. A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

Location close to clubs , a bit walk to the metro, but It is residential area. 7 eleven close by . Basic hygiene items offered like toothbrush, hairbrush . Nice bathroom , separate man and woman bathroom
