Mr Watanabe was extremely cordial when we arrived the hostel. We felt quite at home there. The room was well heated and comfortable with a view of the Fuji mountain (though there was a view restrictor hence we could not see anything from the room). There is a nice kitchen place with all facilities to cook, make tea etc. Mr watanabe makes bread which is available free gor residents. Overall, we had memorable stay.

Everything was great, the host was very friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great with very good access to train and bus. The views around the area are beautiful. I would recommend it.

Great location and cost for my climb of Mount Fuji. Getting to the hotel was easy with a bus ride and hop off at the shrine. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with the process. The bed in the coed dorm was comfortable and quiet. I was able to get up early the next morning and head to the main bus station to get to the station five bus and trailhead. After the climb, the staff is welcoming again and later helped me get the bus back to Yokohama. This was an ideal situation for climbing, Mount Fuji, and getting back. I highly recommend a stay.

Everything was very nice. The staff were helpful and even accomodated a late check in when I wasn't able to come earlier. My room was good as well, overall the hostel was positively charming. I slept well and really enjoyed the relaxing morning I spent in the lounge. Plus, the free rental bicycles were very useful.
