This is a hostel with amazing value and hospitality. The facilities are new, clean and super comfortable - easily one of the best dormitories I've ever stayed in. The bar is a very nice plus: beautifully decorated, great music and good prices. Yoichi the owner is very nice and knows his trade. Plus, impossible to get a better location if you're planning to do the Kumano Kodo. Totally recommended!

The host was very friendly and helpful. He speaks English very well, so we did not have any misunderstanig. It was very kind of him to provide us snacks and a little meal for breakfast. Also we could use the kitchen to cook our breakfast. Jam, peanut butter, coffee, tea, cacao were included. Saying honestly it was the best place to stay during whole Kumano. We highly recomend this place.

Beautiful property with lots of interesting decor around the house. Koji was extremely helpful providing a map and Kumano passport and making sure I knew which bus to take and where to go in the morning
