For me, the quality of hostels is mostly about the overall atmosphere and personality of the owners. Nino and Vesna are a couple of very friendly, talkative, and helpful people. We were also lucky enough to spend some time with them with a glass of beer & wine. They put hard work in the hostel and make feel everyone welcome. Děkujeme moc, snad někdy příště!

Duschko and Isabel are great people, they treated us more like a friend rather than customer. They even invited us to stay in their summer house in Albania. Also another point I should definitely tell is we had booked for 3 nights but could only be able to stay for 2 nights because of flight problems-and they did not even asked for full payment! Helpful-friendly owners and location is not far from centre. definitely suggest!

Jacopo was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. He literally went to the bus station with me to manage an issue with a ticket. He ensures that the hostel is clean, warm and safe for all the people staying there. The hostel itself is about 25 minutes walk away from the bus station but just 5 minutes drive away. What I love is how accessible it is to the main attraction sites like the Fortress, the Cathedral on the hill, the Old Town and even the lake!! Convenience stores are also nearby so you can buy whatever ingredients you need to prepare your own food. Ohrid is a small city but there's a lot of activities you can do. Jacopo will guide you!
