Cozumel Hostels

Friendly and relaxed – hostels make the perfect base for nomads.

More than 1 million people last month said they'd recommend Booking.com to their family and friends.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Hotels That Guests Love in Cozumel
  • Excellent hostel! The staff are nice, comfortable rooms, hot shower, and a good place to meet other travelers

  • This was my favorite hostel in all of my travels!! Kathy has some really nice connections all throughout the island to get you decent "non-tourist" prices for just about anything you want! Super chill but also lovely and social. I booked for 3 nights I think but I ended up staying for 6, if that says anything!!! I already recommended this place to several people I met since then that were traveling to Cozumel :)

  • The pool and garden were lovely and the staff were very friendly. Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Comfortable bed and decent sized kitchen.

  • The property is just a couple of blocks from the ferry dock where boats arrive from Playa del Carmen, so it's perfect for backpackers or those traveling to Cozumel without a car. The hostel is on the second story of the building, connected to a balcony/bar with an amazing view of the ocean.

  • The owner is incredible! Everything was perfectly arranged and she helps the guests with anything. I often forget to write reviews, but this hostel really deserves it. The moment you arrive, you'll feel like you have your own personal tour guide for the island. I only stayed one night at Cozumel, and got the best out of it partly because of her help!
