Hostels in Manong

Nice location, super clean, nice facilities, warm hospitality... in short, excellent overall! So much better than what I expected!

Rooms are large and have plenty of space. There are curtains on the beds. Beds are comfortable and clean. The hostel appears well maintained and clean. The common room is large. Bathrooms are large, especially the showers. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This needs to be improved. The beds have no light. Means that every time someone comes in, the big light in the room has to be switched on. This disturbs the peace and quiet and sleep at night. Lights urgently need to be fitted to the beds. There is no shelf by the bed. If you want to charge your cell phone or have other things nearby, everything is in the bed or on the floor. Urgently add shelves. If you want to take a shower and hot water, you have to press the switch for the respective shower behind the entrance door to get hot water. I didn't know this and nobody told me. So I had to take cold showers for the first two days. Another guest then showed me how to do it. Put up signs telling you how the showers work.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Incredible showers (and the best-smelling shower gel and shower pressure!). Very friendly and social guests. Clean and fully equiped kitchen. Good privacy and large rooms. Comfortable beds. I extended my stay! Great value :)
