Sunny is the best host ever! He took personal interest in us and we had some nice conversations. The rest of the staff is also exceptionally nice! I liked the hostel so much that I came back for a second stay bring a couple of friends. Even booking one night in advance I could get two rooms and everyone was happy to see us again. The food and coffee were really good!

The host offers a hands-off approach, giving guests space and privacy and not micromanaging or being overly pushy with additional services the way some hotels do. The kitchen and close proximity to a huge supermarket meant that I was in control of my nutrition. Nights were quiet and restful and the place has class. It's basically a mansion.

The hostel is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. It completely pays off - the staff is very nice, and the restaurant at the hostel is delicious. I’ve been travelling for a long time, and Kwabahal has been a top hostel I stayed at in Asia. The WiFi is also good and stable.

Very nice, comfortable and clean room for a great price. The staff is very nice too and does it's best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant can also definitely be recommended.

Kathmandu is not an easy city with a maze of noisy and crowded street. Next-door hotel is located within a quiet neighbourhood and acts like an oasis in the desert.This positive impression is reinforced thanks to the services offered by Tisa and his staff always smiling and helpful. I will definitely return there
