Sunny and the staff of best hostel really made our stay at Kathmandu extra special. Sunny is so welcoming and hospitable and always makes you smile after a big day of walking around. Such a beautiful Hostel with a lovely common room and garden that you can eat all your delicious meals in that you can order from there in house restaurant!!

The host offers a hands-off approach, giving guests space and privacy and not micromanaging or being overly pushy with additional services the way some hotels do. The kitchen and close proximity to a huge supermarket meant that I was in control of my nutrition. Nights were quiet and restful and the place has class. It's basically a mansion.

Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

The reception staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and they are willing to go above, and beyond to guarantee the customer satisfaction. They are available 24/7. The Delux Room is one of the best luxury rooms in Thamel area for a reasonable price. The room was clean, brand new, with AC, and fully equipped with everything needed includding toiletries, water bottles, a kettle, and a comfortable king-size bed. It is definitely one of the best mid-range price accomodations available in Thamel.

Everything was great, the rooms, staff, location. Great value for such money, if I was again booking hostel there, I would definitely book Monkey Bunky again.
