I had a very enjoyable stay at Dar Shaden hostel and the people running this house made my Oman trip unforgettable. I got to go on a camping trip with the team to Jabal Sham and this was my most favorite experience in Oman. If you plan to go explore anywhere in Oman, dont hesitate to ask them. Maybe they can arrange their time and get you there (with a fee), much better than joining a tour. The hostel is very clean, new and well maintained. Big living room, kitchen is fully equipped. The location is near the airport, around 10km. The hosts of the house are truly kind and always willing to help. They made me feel welcoming and at home. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the hospitality of the staff, very very tidy room and budget saver for all the travelers. Nice kitchen that fully equipped. Location is easy to find and very near to mall of oman just 5 minutes walking distance.i highly recommended this dormitory 10/10

Everything about this hostel was great; it was close to everything, the bus stop to the airport was right outside my balcony, my room was spotlessly clean, and the staff and manager were very friendly. I wished there was an iron, but it wasn't too much trouble as there were several laundromats downstairs.
