The rooms, common areas, showers, etc are clean and well designed. Really enjoyed my stay there; will definitely book with Passenger again if I ever come back to Porto.

Urban Garden Porto Central Hostel is located in the Santo Ildefonso district, in Porto, 300 metres from City Market Bolhao and 500 metres from Oporto Coliseum. The hostel is new, has everything for the short or even long stay. Beds are comfortable enough, curtains make it more private, bathroom is clean, kitchen is fully equipped and there is an amazing garden with its own bar. There is nothing more we would like to have there. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

Set in a 19th-century building, Gallery Hostel offers a modern, recently renovated air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property underwent refurbishment in 2015 so facilities are quite new. It’s 15mins’ walk to main city area which is perfect; you have quick access to everything without the noise and crowd. It’s located near supermarkets and some pretty good brunch places like Zenith. Most importantly, the staff are really helpful and friendly.

The location is right next to the Cathedral and the perfect place to start your Camino. The guests were as fun as the staff. Everyone is included in everything- you could never feel lonely here 🥰

The Happy Porto Hostel & Apartments is located in the heart of historic Porto and offers privileged views over the Douro River. Extremely friendly staff, they really make you feel welcome, make you feel at home. They even emailed me before my stay with them to tell me I can drop off luggage before my check in time. They make special effort reminding guests not to disturb other guest in the night by putting on the light - the room key you get has a little flash light on it to use if arriving to the room late. Lovely view from the room, spacious room.
