I am very glad that I booked this hostel for my stay. At first I was scared when I looked at the bad reviews. Yes it is a building that needs some renovation but it’s nothing absurd. I rarely write reviews like this one but I felt like I had to. The hostel is clean, there is no bad smell in the dorms like the reviews say. It’s good that it has some outdoors activities. I highly recommend renting a bike and doing a hike or a tour around the lake. The staff was very helpful with me - by advising the best buses I should take to my next destination. The room that I stayed in had an awesome view of the lake. Breakfast is simple but it’s good for the price. The restaurant they have serve good food for dinner at a fair price.

It’s a lovely place by the river handleded by the kindest hosts ever, Ryan and Katja made us feel at home from the start. They pointed out all the main places to visit, advised to cook the local specialty by the the river in a woodfire, which we loved, and even got us marshmallows to burn on the fire. The breakfast served is complete and includes Katjas homemade recipes. We would have stayed longer but unfortunately they were sold out. If we ever go back to bled we will definitely visit them again.

Very well equipped place, everything is brand-new and it looks even better on the pictures. What was particularly nice is the floor-heating which made the place very warm in a very cold winter week, so the comfort was at its max. Nusa is very welcoming host and knowledgeable about the area. The facilities are super complete, she thought about everything. Kropa is located in calm and beautiful valley, the hike from kropa to Radovljica or up to one of the certain hills are a must. We could imagine coming in back during a warmer season to explore the region better by bike.

Life Hostel Slovenia is located in Radovljica, 25 mi from Ljubljana. There is a restaurant on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Some rooms feature views of the mountain or a city park.

We simply love 💕 the Life Hostel. It is better than a hotel. The building and the location couldn’t be better. Radovljica is a sweetest little town with a lot going on. We love the music festival among many other things. The breakfast has improved tremendously after the renovation.

Housed in an old monastery building, 1A Adventure Hostel is set in Lesce, 2.4 mi from Bled. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, fire up a barbecue and enjoy the sun terrace.
