The service and staff kindness were incredible! Delicious food and drinks on-site, beautiful pool and beach access, great AC and very comfortable private dome for our honeymoon. Easy check in, staff watched our bags after check out and helped arrange a taxi one evening.

such a great social vibe with a real diverse group of travelers and super friendly owners and staff - dinner before the full moon party was super tasty (the massaman curry was heaven) and the hang out spots around the hostel were inviting - rooms and bed were nice, AC worked well

Really kind couple run the place. It’s got quite an Airbnb feel where they let you get on with it but are super attentive to any requests you have. They were also very chilled around the Full Moon Party drinking/having friends over and arranged taxis we could buy into if we wanted. Room was far more spacious than the pictures suggested and was great for the price at that time of the month. Location is perfect (easy access to north, pier and Full Moon) with great restaurants minutes walk away (especially Mama’s Thai Food).

This hostel is lovely. It is in great location. It is very social hostel. Fon (owner) got out of his way to make you feel like home, comfortable and satisfied and he created great social atmosphere. I did not stay in full moon days, so the island was not too full. But I met great people and had great time there. I even spent my birthday there. It was lovely. I would highly recommend for solo travelers or any travellers. Many thanks to Fon, his mum, Ben (the bartender who makes amazing cocktails) and everyone in hostel 🫶🏽

    Looooved this hostel. Very nice social and chill. Staff very friendly. A lot of comfortable seats in the living room and outside (hammocks, cushions, chairs). In front of the beach for a little swim (even tho the sand is not the best with corals). Possible to use mats for yoga. Pool table. Close to cheap and good locals restaurants in town. Clean (the staff team cleans every morning).

    staff were really friendly, great social area in this hostel & such a nice place with it right on the beach. can chill in the hostel or just outside on the beach. really social & great for solo travellers, felt comfortable & safe the whole time. staff were friendly & food from the restaurant was tasty & cheap!

    The best hostel in koh phangan - Sisi at the reception is very helpful and has good stuff - They have tours for everyone for free it's really nice for solo travelers - Clean beds and washroom - Brian the owner is a really nice guy if you get to meet him Really enjoyed here

    Arena is the best hostel ive been to in Thailand. the vibe is amazing, the guests are fun, sociable,easy to get along with and always down to party. Soufiane greeted us our very first day and made us feel right at home, showed us around the hostel, gave us plenty tips and advice and took amazing care of us, he made our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities are top notch: pool, gym, basketball court, volleyball court, football field, ping pong tables, padel courts, daily beer pong tournaments, dj sets a few nights a week...

    The staff at the reception was nice and inform you about every activity which are on this week. The beach and the chill lounge, with free pool table are perfect for backpackers. The location is very convincing, renting a bike is near, there is a cute night market just a short walk away and it’s a great place to meet new people. There are always parties and taxis if you like to go partying. If u don’t like noise I don’t recommend you Echo Hostel :)
