My favorite Hostel in Bangkok because of the beds, good ac and the staff that make this place so special! I am always coming back, the last time very tired from my travels but calm inside because I know here I get a lot of rest. Wow!! This hotel blew my mind. First of all I have no idea why it has the word hostel in the title because it is very much a luxury boutique hotel. The facilities are great— comfy big rooms with beautiful furnishings and a great shower/bathroom. Wonderful staff, and centrally located. It’s definitely not a social type of place so don’t book if you want to make friends here but if you want a great value, luxurious, well located hotel, this is a perfect choice.

    I loved that Matini is close to the station, cheap, clean, friendly English-speaking staff, quiet, big comfortable seating areas, lots of natural light, free coffee, cold drinking water, fridge, big table, spacious safe storage with cheap padlocks, free WiFi, sockets, curtains for each bed, comfortable beds with towels provided, cheap delicious food available to order and hand delivered. The staff also helped me order a taxi to Koh Chang.

    Great location to the main train station and Chatuchak Weekend market, modern, clean, and they were happy for me to leave luggage and lounge around in their very comfortable communal area before catching the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

    It's the best hostel if you need to catch a bus or flight from DMK. Sadly it's too far from the city to stay here for seeing Bangkok.

    best hostel I ever stayed in. The staff treats you SO good! It’s very clean, I saw a that there are 10+ people just for cleaning. It’s so modern and pretty, you feel rich while paying nearly nothing🥹
