La was an exceptional host, she made me feel at home. La went above and beyond her duties. She arranged for her friend to practice riding the scooter with me, she also dropped me to the port on my last day. During my time there, La also bought a local snack for all the guests as a gift. The accommodation is spacious and peaceful. The beds were big and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are also big. The cats were very cute!

I simply loved this place, the cabins are built on a slope of a hill which gives you an amazing view from the porch or the bed as the entrance is a glass wall. The beds are soft and really comfortable. The cabib feels spacious and the bathroom is big with a large shower. The owner was so nice, picking us up from our previous guesthouse as well as driving us to the pier to catch a ferry.

Amazing family owned hostel in the nature! Comfortable, nice backpacker vibes, easy to meet other travelers, the facilities and the rooms are very clean and cleaned daily. Such a polite local family who are doing absolutely everything to make you feel at home :)

We booked two nights and ended up staying much longer — that’s how special Big Hug Home is. Pom has created a true paradise filled with love, creativity, and care. The open, airy rooms are peaceful and comfortable, surrounded by nature’s sounds, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof. Pom is one of the most inspiring people we’ve ever met — kind, artistic, and full of warmth. Her home-cooked meals were amazing (we even tasted her home-grown seaweed!), and her family made us feel right at home. Tucked away near the river, it’s quiet and surrounded by nature, yet easy to get around by scooter or local taxi. Kayaking through the mangroves was a highlight. Thank you, Pom, for everything — we’ll never forget our time here. 🌸
